The Impeckable Bat Box
We have designed into this Bat Box our usual quality and longevity. Normally we shy away from wood because it goes rotten when exposed to the rigours of the weather, but because wood has good insulation properties to help keep the Bats warm and is good for grip, we designed a double tier assembly in order to concentrate more Bats for collective warmth, using only the best quality Latvian plywood grooved in the horizontal fashion. In order to protect this wooden assembly from the weather we have provided an all-round fiberglass cover leaving just the bottom clear for the Bats to enter.
OUR STORY
We started Impeckable because we could see a real decline in the bird population and all wildlife numbers. We thought we had to do something to protect those that needed help to flourish and thrive and we believe we are doing just that... Our latest offering is the new Impeckable Bat Box.

The new Impeckable Bat Box
A declining bat population is a significant environmental concern with far-reaching implications for ecosystems and agriculture. Bats play crucial roles as :-
Pollinators (especially in tropical and desert ecosystems)
Pest controllers (one bat can eat thousands of insects per night)
Seed dispersers.
Do you know that the bat is often feared or killed due to myths or concerns about the spread of diseases like rabies for instance.
The truth is these mammals are crucial to our ecosystem and play an important role, we need to be working hard to save the bats.

Bat life cycle.
Bats will typically hibernate for the winter, December to March.
April time is normally when you start to see the bats appear again, hungry and hunting for food.
May and June the females will be looking for suitable nesting sites and give birth to a single pup.
August to September the females having reared their pup, will begin to mate again and bats start building up their fat reserves ready for winter,
November and December less activity, no insects to eat so the bats seek hibernation sites ready for their deep slumber and next years spring time.
